Administrative Assistant to Social Marketing

The successful candidate must have a strong interest in social marketing, and experience with children's mental health resources and services. This person will support social marketing activities within the system of care in Erie County. This person will: provide support, accept/fulfill assignments, and support the family involvement in a social marketing capacity; provide administrative support through general office work; participate in community events and research; and gather data that is important to families experiencing mental health challenges. Strong knowledge and use of Microsoft Office Suite required. This is a marketing related position within Family Voices Network. Salary Range: $10-$12 per Hour depending on experience. Director of Vocational Services Developmental Disabilities Institute

DDI seeks an energetic and creative individual with excellent communication skills to oversee and expand our vocational division, providing services to autistic and developmentally disabled adults and children through Pre-Vocational and Supported Employment services.

To qualify you must have a BA (Master's preferred), with 3 – 5 years related experience. A proven record in administering vocational programs for this population and extensive knowledge of OMRDD, VESID and DOL is required. Experience in grant proposal writing is a plus. Accounting Manager

Director of Research and Training Position

General Description:
Position involves coordinating activities around change in the field of service delivery to individuals with various disabilities; promoting strategic partnerships, coordinating inquiries into current research and training; investigating revenue streams to fund research and training opportunities; and managing research and training activities through developing and implementing work plans within a budget.

Duties:
Position involves the following duties, though this list is not exhaustive:
  • Assist CEO in developing policy issues around which cutting-edge research and training opportunities and technical support can be designed.
  • Work with a Board of Directors, Research Committee, Trainers' Council, and CEO to plan and implement an annual research and training calendar.
  • Work with COO to develop and manage an annual work plan within a specified budget.
  • Seek ways to diversify revenue streams among public and private funding sources through grant application efforts directed to myriad entities.
  • Identify, engage and supervise consultants under contract to implement specific projects, including research and training events, conferences, and grant applications.
  • Produce annual implementation data to assess major milestones of product development, measure outcomes, and chart progress. Produce an annual report to the CEO and the Board of Directors. Other duties as assigned by the CEO or COO.
Qualifications:
Advanced degree and at least 4 years' experience in health/human services research, training and/or policy development, plus a demonstrated understanding of disability and rehabilitation issues. Fiscal management experience as well as excellent writing and communication skills required.

Hours:
Full-time position.

Director, Quality Assurance & Corporate Compliance

Fedcap is a large not-for-profit organization that provides evaluation, training and employment to individuals with disabilities or other barriers to employment. We have an exciting new opportunity for the right person to join our management team.

The Director, QA & Corporate Compliance will be responsible for establishing and implementing effective programs to ensure compliance with applicable quality standards and relevant industry regulatory requirements as well as administrative guidelines. In addition, this position will be responsible for developing and implementing programs that monitor and promote quality of services throughout the organization. Other responsibilities will include:
  • Development, initiation, maintenance and revision of policies & procedures for the general operation of the compliance program and its related activities
  • Development and implementation of tools and processes for evaluation of outcomes, effectiveness and quality of service for all programs, businesses and support departments
  • Development of strategies and programs for improvement of functioning for all programs, business and support departments
  • Production of measurable performance indicators
  • Maintenance of agency statistics
  • Act as an independent review and evaluation body to ensure that compliance issues and concerns within the organization are appropriately evaluated, investigated, and resolved
  • Monitor, and as necessary, coordinate compliance activities of multiple departments to remain abreast of the status of all compliance activities and to identify trends
  • Identification of potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk, develop and implement correct action plans for resolution of problematic issues, and provide general guidance on avoidance of similar prospective situations
  • Provision of reports that will keep the Compliance Committee and/or senior management informed of compliance efforts
Qualifications: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree including course work in QA practices and/or Compliance. A minimum of 10 years experience in organization compliance and quality assurance areas; plus prior supervisory experience are required. Knowledge of and experience with quality standards (CARF, ISO 90001, JCAHO) and knowledge of AbilityOne (formerly JWOD) and NYSID regulations and guidelines preferred.
