MH Recovery Division Meeting - Nov.1
Along with the regular business of the MH/Recovery Division (click on the link below for the full agenda), Executives and program management level staff of agencies are invited and encouraged to be a part of the dialog. MH/Recovery Agencies need to be positioning themselves for services under Managed Care. NYSRA invites agency policy and program management to join colleagues in a Think Tank Discussion to share your thoughts, experiences and observations about the following topics - •Managed Care and Risk? We as providers will have options - Fee for service, contracts and sub contracts and what else? What are your thoughts on this? Benchmarks? •Managed Care companies may not be the experts in assessing risk for the long term care needs of the people NYSRA members serve. SHOULD NYSRA be asking, "Medicaid Managed care providers operating in NYS - how do you anticipate working with community rehabilitation providers of long term care services? Are there different ways they are willing to work with providers, have they shared with YOU what business models they are considering? •Collaboration is the new buzz word - CRP's will need to build "Partnerships" for the future - what do you think?
